Announcement
Beginning August 3rd, the 10:30 a.m. Mass (in Spanish) will be celebrated at the Rogers’ Chapel at Mount Olive College and the Sunday evening Mass (in English) will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m., in the parish church.

In His Name Donation Program
The In His Name Donation Program makes donations to Catholic parishes, parochial schools, Catholic campus ministries and other approved Catholic or Christian non-profit groups. Organizations that join the program (like us) just have to place a link to In His Name on their website. Then each time someone clicks on the link and makes an online purchase, In His Name, Inc. will donate 5% of the sale to the member organization. St. Mary's has join this program, so if you make a online purchase using the link to In His Name as (shown at the top of this article) on this website or the St. Mary's Youth Ministry website St. Mary's and/or St. Mary's Youth Ministry will get 5% of your purchess.

For the Building Fund
The second collection starting January 6th will be for the parish building fund. This collection will be made on the first Sunday of the month, as we collect the funds to build our new church!

Cualquier adulto católico que no haya recibido la Primera Comunión ó la Confirmación ó que (si casado) no está Casado por la Iglesia está invitado a hablar y hacer una cita con el Padre Jim para prepararse y recibir estos sacramentos. Cualquier persona que no sea católica será bienvenida igualmente para hablar con el Padre Jim y preguntarle sobre lo que esté en duda acerca de la Fé Católica, especialmente si están interesados en bautizarse y/ó tomar la Primera Comunión en la Iglesia Católica.

St. Vincent de Paul Society
Aluminum Cans for Aid to the Poor
Aluminum cans are being collected in a large bin in the parking lot at Walmart, Mount Olive. Proceeds from the sale of these cans will be used by Area Churches in Action, of which we are now members, through our St. Vincent de Paul Society, to assist the poor of our community in emergency situations.

Scholarship Information
The Edith Bradshaw Memorial Scholarship was established in 2003 in memory of the mother of Michael Mozingo. A $1000.00 Scholarship is offered each year to a deserving high school senior OR any full-time college student enrolled in a community college or university/college.
For 2009, the scholarship will be open to a member of the parish of St. Mary's as well as Immaculate Conception in Clinton and will be awarded in August 2009. This scholarship is funded, in part, by the sale of a CD that Michael Mozingo has produced. The CD contains a collection of spiritual/inspirational songs that he has enjoyed singing over the past 30 years and will be available after Masses this weekend for a donation of $15.00, each.
